we’re leavin’ on a jet plane
Sadly, our time in Sa has come to an end; tonight the fam bam, Tara & I are off to the States for a few weeks and then T & I meet up with Nasime in Newark for Tel Aviv. We’re sad to be leaving family and the community here–it has been a wooonderful trip–but on the other hand we’re looking forward to seeing family in the States and for them to meet Tara, and then of course to be seeing SABA joon joon soon! For anyone who is from Sa and leaves it, there’s always that deep, sad feeling when that plane takes off, not knowing when one might return. So in the meantime tofa soifua my beloved Samoa.
