day 3

Posted by saba on September 15th, 2006 — Posted in Tara

Well it was a day of taking care of our little one and letting Sieni rest as much as possible.

Although it was a very unfair match, and the hospital food didn’t even stand a chance. It is good to see Sieni getting her appetite back with a vengeance.

We also quickly learnt that Sieni wasn’t in the habit of leaving any scraps for us. So Tali, Sieni’s Mom; who has been absolutely invaluable, started bringing lunch in from home for her and I. So yummy!

Sieni and I also got to spend some quality time with the little one.

I want you all to know I have, with Faraz and Shingo’s help, been printing out all your comments and giving them to Sieni. She and I really want to thank each and every one of you for all your encouragement, love, and support; it carries so much importance and signifies so much.

Sieni, you’ve just gone thru a 29 hour labour and STILL you look good, and can wear a sei in your hair and say “pooh! that was nothing! bring on 5 more.” Hehehe. Bubba looks so beautiful, Sieni joon. I so wish I were there to be with you guys. Can’t wait for you to come home so Tinto can play with her new sister!!

We miss you dear. I am so proud of you. I think I would’ve taken every pain killer in the book before going thru those painful hours. Your strength and resolve is amazing! Saba is also to be commended…for holding your hand. Haha. I tell you, when I had Tinto, Cheeku was acting as if he’d been the one giving birth. So typical! Hehe. Love you guys so much!

Love & kisses,

Nyd, Cheeku & Tinto

Congratulations Saba and Sieni! Good job! Your little girl is so precious, may Baha’u'llah always protect her. Have you come up with the name yet? She is so lucky to have such loving and nurturing parents. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
