Ultrasounds & baby names
Yesterday we went to Ram Bam hospital for our 6-month mark ultrasound. They’re just renovating the place so there was some construction work happening in and around the building. We found the “US” section and waited for our appointment with the specialist. We were reeeeeeeally excited. We got to see our baby’s “feutal head” (in that thick Israeli accent), hands (I counted 5 fingers), stomach, ribs, spine, feet, femur, and head profile… incredible. We told the doctor we didn’t want to know the gender so he avoided down dere. In the background there was a faint thump, thumping noise. Saba and I both seriously thought if it was the heartbeat but lo and behold it was just the construction workers in the next room.
With the baby arriving in 3 months’ time, we are at the point of searching for names to call our little Sabeni… any suggestions?

Hehe.
That’s great. You guys must be thrilled. It all seems so real when you finally can see everything. 6 months already. Yours will be 2 months younger than Erika’s. How time flies.

from United States3 months? Omigosh, that’s going to be so soon! I think you should name him/her His Highness Malietoa Tanumafili II, King of Western Samoa
And it’s totally one of those “could go either way” names. And just imagine how nice it would go with practically any middle name you choose!

Found your website through Nyds and I love it! So exciting to hear from another side of the world. We’re so over the whole tropical island thing we have going here… hehehe.
Anyways, Congratulations on expecting baby Sabeni (who you should NOT call Nydia under ANY circumstances… hehe)
Keep posting

from United Statesoh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!1 i can’t believe you guys are expecting!! woo-hoo!!! we just had out second baby in February. what a wild ride!!
okay… name ideas…. i am thinking that you should combine all your sisters’ names into one (if it is a girl)… like, “Navimana” or “Ionasva”,or “Ionasnav”…or maybe “Nasionava”… and, if it’s a boy, Patrick. ;o)
